The Paladins are Ready -
Jan 31, 2008The Paladins are getting ready for their first game this Saturday at 2 o'clock. The Paladins have a completely reformatted approach to their team philosophy and are ready to unveil their new strategy. First year coach, Dr. Michael Ian Borer, is looking on spreading his years of experience in the game to Furman and establishing a permanent tradition of lacrosse excellence at Furman University. Second year Atackman/Midfielder Jeffery Bailey Hennessy states that he is, "excited about transitioning to the midfield and playing with the new guys on the team." The Dins have a great mixture of experience and youth vitality and the players are excited to see this balance transition to the win column. The Paladins were dealt a blow this fall with a season ending knee injury to 2007 SELC freshman of the year Corey Gheesling. The Dins will be fine though in having Jeff Hennessy step up and fill the role Goose played in last year. All in all, the Paladins are excited and chomping at the bit to get out there and embark on another journey to the playoffs.
